The £10,000 Oxbridge Scholarship 2026 Terms

1. What this is

The Oxbridge Scholarship 2026 is a merit-based competition for students sitting the 2026 TMUA. It supports the whole admissions system, the TMUA, personal statement, interviews and UCAS, for students aiming at Oxford, Cambridge, or another leading university. Awards are decided on the skill and judgment shown in each application, judged by our tutoring team on academic record, motivation, and commitment. No award is made at random: every award is a merit decision by our tutoring team against the published standard. The Oxbridge Scholarship is awarded by tmua.co.uk, a trading name. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, or QS Quacquarelli Symonds, and it does not guarantee entry to any university.

2. Who can apply

• You must be planning to sit the official TMUA in October 2026.
• You must be reachable by email and phone so we can arrange an award call. International applicants are welcome.
• If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must consent to your application and to being contacted about the programme. That is why we ask for a parent or guardian's contact details.
• Applying is free and carries no obligation to buy anything.

3. The prizes

There are three prizes on the podium. Every application is assessed by our tutoring team against the published criteria, on academic record, motivation and commitment. Awards are decided on merit, not at random.

• First place, one award: a place on the Total Admission programme, worth £10,000, awarded free on merit to a single winner. It includes around 50 hours of one-to-one tutoring, full admissions support (personal statement, interviews and UCAS), and 2 hours of group sessions every week through the summer.
• Second place, the Scholar's Award: a partial scholarship of up to 50% towards the Total Admission programme, awarded on merit. It is not a free place, its exact terms are confirmed on the award call, and it expires as set out in section 4. The number of awards depends on the field.
• Third place, three awards: TMUA Pro, our self-study platform, free, awarded to the three strongest applicants who just miss the Scholar's Award.
• Applicants who do not meet the standard for any of the three prizes receive no award. Applications close on Sunday 12 July 2026, 23:59 UK. Prizes are reviewed and issued on a rolling basis, usually within 24–48 hours of applying. The first-place winner is announced on Monday 13 July 2026. Recipients are contacted by email.

4. Accepting an award

Each award has a claim window, and it lapses if you do not act within it.

• First place, the £10,000 place: book the award call within 72 hours of the award email.
• Second place, the Scholar's Award: book the call within 72 hours of the award email.
• Third place, the three TMUA Pro places: activate within 7 days of the award email.
• Consolation award (TMUA Pro at a reduced rate): redeem within 7 days of the award email, using the link in that email.
• Once a call is booked, the award is held until 24 hours after the call. Lapsed awards may be withdrawn or offered to another applicant.
• The scope, price, start date, and any guarantee attached to an award are confirmed in writing before any payment is taken.
• If you have previously bought TMUA Pro, the amount you paid is credited against any award you accept.

5. The guarantee

Total Admission is covered by our top-100 guarantee, and it applies whether the student wins the full place or joins through the Scholar's Award. The Oxbridge Scholarship sets the aim; this guarantee sets the floor. If the student completes the programme, attending the booked sessions and submitting their UCAS application through us, and receives no offer from a university ranked in the QS World University Rankings top 100, the fees they paid are refunded in full. We help the student aim for Oxford or Cambridge; we do not guarantee an offer from either, or from any specific university. The completion conditions are the anti-abuse gate. The completion and evidence conditions are the same as those set out in our main Terms of Service.

6. Publicity

We will only name the winner publicly, or use their words or image, with the explicit consent of the winner and, where the winner is under 18, their parent or guardian. You can take part in the scholarship without agreeing to any publicity.

7. Fair use

One application per student. We may disqualify applications that are duplicated, automated, contain false information, or are submitted in bad faith. Our decisions on awards are final.

8. Data

We use the details you provide only to assess your application, arrange your award call, and keep you updated about the scholarship. You can ask us to remove your data at any time by emailing the address below.
